'Into the Micro-world'

In order to complement the unique look and feel of Willard Wigan's work, the studio pioneered a new technique of producing models for use in replacement stop-motion animation. The process involved the use of 'Z-Corp' printers where models are literally printed from the ground up taking their reference from CG generated wire-frames. The models were then worked into by hand to make each one look like a sculpture in its own right.
